The exhibition will showcase locally and internationally grown dahlias, including the latest varieties created in Latvia. These flowers have remarkable colour and petal size and shape diversity. Dahlias can be found in almost all gardens in Latvia, and their blooming usually marks the end of summer.
The exhibition is organized in cooperation with members of the Society "Latvian dahlias" (Elīna Zaļā, Rita Zaļā un Evita Puzāne). Examples of dahlia collections of the National Botanic Garden and the Botanical Garden of the University of Latvia will also be exhibited.
The exhibition opens on September 5 at 12.00
in the exhibition hall on the 2nd floor.
